This was for the Dance for a Cause event organized by Cheryl Burke and the members from the community. I had a great time to see everyone's enthusiasm to participate towards to benefit victims from the typhoon Kesana and Parma that devastated the Philippines. Unfortunately,I was not able to stay for the whole event because I was too fatigue from the weather. However, thanks to my Auntie Jane and Uncle Brett, we worked well as a team and took awesome photographs!

Introducing Lily!

20091002-009--_MG_5516-Edit20091002-009--_MG_5531

We had no idea on how to approach this shoot for Nasty Gal clothing company. In all, we did a really great job thanks to Billy luong (lighting assistant) and of course, Lily Wong (Model). She's so fun to work with! I hope to work with Lily in the future. :-)

I had only 20 minutes for a portrait shoot at the backyard of the church!!! Luckily, I had found a nice patch of green to take this impov shoot.

I helped assist Tim in this shoot. I've never been or shot for an Indian wedding. Unfortunately I was not able to stay for the whole event, which was 12 hours long! I really wanted to take a portrait of the couple...

Laura & Lance Engagement

Laura_Ha_Engagement-_MG_3894

The shoot was at Halfmoon bay main st. and a beach, which was a few minutes drive. Laura and Lance were really fantastic in sharing ideas for the shoot. I enjoyed their high energy and openness, which made really interesting and fun photos. A lot of things worked out so perfectly, we also made it just in time to enjoy the sunset.

Clos LaChance Winery- Family Day 09'

Clos La Chance Family Day-_MG_3629

Family day was a blast! The energy of the event was very warm and friendly. The games were very entertaining. Especially when they made a ballon toss into a water ballon fight. Technical-wise, the sun was very harsh, but Melanie (the coordinator) was able to help me find a nice shady spot for the shoot. Thanks Melanie!

Clos LaChance Wine

Gift Sets-2
This was for the Clos LaChance Winery. I discovered that product photography wasn't that boring! The set up was one background light and one keylight with reflectors.
